Kylver present ‘The Plague Tapes’, a collection of live recordings encompassing music from the bands two previously released studio albums, ‘The Mountain Ghost’ and ‘The Island’ as well as two new unreleased tracks: 'Allghoi' and 'The Frozen Sands'.

Kylvers plan for 2020 had been to head into the studio to record their third album, but restricted access to rehearsal space, studio time and everything else the pandemic brought with it forced the band to rethink their plans, use what resources were available to them.

Recorded and filmed at The Cluny in August 2020, just after the first set of lockdown restrictions had eased enough to run through a few rehearsals and access to one of their favourite venues was allowed. The recordings take on the form of a live performance, sans audience.
